Have not found better sushi than here, at Hako in the entire Triangle area. I've literally traveled all over the world and eaten sushi in many countries and cities. This place is in my top 5 of worldwide sushi places I've eaten at. And I've eaten at places where I was only one of two or three non-Japanese people at the restaurant. It's a small place with a loyal customer following for all the right reasons. And year over year the quality and freshness of the fish, and friendliness and professionalism has consistently been at high levels.

Enjoy this place!!!! The ginger chicken is such a delicacy. I had everything on the menu and it was so good. Tried all types of sushi for the first time and now have many favorites. The service is always top notch. We ate here the day of the Super Bowl and virtually had the restaurant to ourselves. For Asian cuisine this is the perfect place to try new items. The staff are always very nice and helpful. I think the customer service adds a lot to the really nice warm food.

First time at this restaurant. Ambiance was great for date night or late evening dinner. We were immediately greeted and seated upon walking through the door. Our waiter was very friendly and knowledgeable with all of our questions on the menu. We ordered a sushi appetizer which came promptly and was delicious. Our main course hibachi plates came out fresh in an iron skillet still sizzling with a side bowl of rice. Everything was flavorful and portion size was more than enough for our money's worth. Will definitely be back. We had a great experience.

Had a later (8pm) dinner for two and it was fantastic! Not only was the food delicious, fresh, and made to order but the staff were kind and attentive without being overbearing! The chicken/steak hibachi skillet was fantastic and the salmon roll was especially delicious. Excited to return for lunch soon!

Never had anything other than sushi, so can't speak to the rest of the menu. Good rolls, well presented Nigeri, and fairly priced.
